Lake Formation is built on top our S3 Delta Lake tables.

What do you like best about AWS Lake Formation?
This Data Lake service provided by AWS simplifies security and procurement with the cloud features. It is available in almost all the AWS regions, which helps us to have full availability and scalable solution for the Data Lake
What do you dislike about AWS Lake Formation?
The limitation of filtering table metadata is one of the known issues from the AWS offered service. There have been issues with renaming an excluded column. There has been some issues with deletion of the columns
What problems is AWS Lake Formation solving and how is that benefiting you?
AWS Lake Formation helps us to create a secure data lake. It is password protected, which ultimately helps us to increase security and accidental changes. It is encrypted with AWS S3's encryption via Lake Formation, which reduces the overall maintenance cost.

Lake Formation is magically ease the model control and data access for me.
What do you like best about AWS Lake Formation?
As I'm working a Data Analytics Engineer, Lake Formation helped me a lot in model control and data access whenever I'm using it AWS services to work though the cloud for data pipeline.
What do you dislike about AWS Lake Formation?
It's limitations basically, one of them is regional availability.
Recommendations to others considering AWS Lake Formation?
On top of that it has some integration issues with other AWS services as well. There're lot of manual settings are which is sometimes hard to understand.
What problems is AWS Lake Formation solving and how is that benefiting you?
While Amazon Lake Formation provides many benefits, it has some limitations, such as regional availability, reliance on Amazon S3 for storage, integration with other AWS services, and limited support for non-AWS data sources.
