Its extremely powerful and can be integrated with FreeRTOS directly, so you can get many features like OTA and telemetry in your devices already out of the box, I use it frequently to connect real devices and bring them the cloud capabilities using IoT Core like gateway to easily implement it with third party or AWS solutions. You can create rules, categories or groups of devices and get cool features like the shadow device to communicate with virtual devices that are currently disconnected in the real world, once those devices become online then the platform updates all the commands or information pending to be sent.

AWS solutions are not quite easy to integrate with other services, so much of the IoT capabilities depends on the way that you integrate it with the rest, for instance there's no way to manage all the keys of your devices in the platform in a graphical way, you can do that if attach the IoT Core with their API and a webpage for example to show the entire table

I used it like my first option to get telemetry connection from every device that I developed, from a weather sensor to a vending machine IoT core is the best to get managed the connections by MQTT protocol. This service fits perfectly with other instances of AWS like S3 so a complete set of databases can be filled and managed from IoT Core without complexity in the implementation.

AWS - amazon web service provides good different types of services and provides excellent support to clients. we can work with the server without any delay. we can easily integrate with any device using AWS IoT.

No there is nothing that faces any type of downside of this platform. sometimes it will show some error or bug. and the API is so complex and sometimes it lags also.

AWS works well with our program and server management. some other platforms like Azure, and Google Cloud Platform do not provide us with that many proper well-managed services.

I like the dashboard look and feel, it's very user-friendly. AWS IoT Core allows you to easily connect devices to the cloud and to other devices. I appreciate the videos, because I am a visual learner, that help me to understand AWS IoT Core. I am using AWS IoT in order to build IoT applications that gather, process, analyze and act on data generated by connected devices, without having to manage any infrastructure.

There are a lot of options and I do not know where to start, sometimes.

I recommend using the FREE tier before committing to the other paid tiers.

I am just begun to use AWS IoT Core but I am excited to see what it can do to expand my knowledge base.

It's very helpful for companies or individuals who wanted to use iot service in their projects. It will fulfill all your need to build secure and effective pipeline for you project. It is very easy to connect local iot device to available service on AWS like machine learning service, servers etc. Very easy to control and apply custom lamba function based on you requirements.

Quite expansive compared to other company which I think attract less small companies to show interest in this. Also there were some issue when I was using like that time multi factor authentication show some compatible issue with AWS core sdk.

It's useful if you are going to build a pipeline for your iot project.

There was a client project in which i need to gather data from their remote located iot device and need to track and build notifications system for that so client can get notifications and take required actionwhenever device goes down or cross some threshold point. In this I choose AWS IoT core service in this so that we can utilize other service of AWS as well. Like we utilize encryption service to secure data.

We used it for different iot devices which are used to make Communications and have an external storage which can be used by different CSI drivers to access the storage for our IOT devices. we have different iot devices which are having a hub which is connected and thus all services are being provided by this service.

Automation of services and graphical representation could be more enhanced

Actually we use it as a central server for all our iot devices and it is very useful to make the communication and to keep it everything and sync so that if anything happens in the client side or we can say anything alarm triggers right so it generally it and give us response and act immediately on that error so the response time of working and acting on any thing is quite fast and we can rely upon it we can even subscribe publish all the devices and this service is it good for iot domain

The best thing about AWS IoT is Rules Engine feature that enables an AWS customer to continuously ingest, filter, process and route data that is streamed from connected devices. This allows us to interact with other AWS automated services like AWS Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB, ML or simply pass it to the elastic search service. Simple to use with straightforward UI. SQL statement of the rule and action triggers on every data input through the sensor. The rule also have editable Json based schema so you can simply specify each sensor and restrict outside calls by modifying the Rule. It supports HTTP, MQTT & websocket communication protocols providing secure two way communication.

There is not much to dislike on AWS IoT core serivce but the AWS IoT connection metrics have possibility of improvement. Also SQL statement special syntax for AWS IoT documentation is not that good.

We use it to get and scan BLE signals from mobile devices and send the data to the Elastic cache for further use. The main benefit of using this is we can check for condition on each signal scanned and can only save which we wanted.

It is the solution that they provide which covers almost all aspects of the architecture of IoT.

Sometimes things get more complicated because there are too many services related to IoT being offered by AWS, So you have to create a simple yet scalable architecture for starting.

AWS is providing all the aspects of IoT architecture and its supporting ingredients with high quality under one roof using which builds a purely scalable architecture.

Consider using AWS if you want a true single platform IoT services which will match your device requirements.

As this AWS has many number of inbuilt tools and for the application development we are able to deploy what ever we need and implement it very securely so this is AWS IoT is very great

Currently the demo is going on and in that Demo we found lot of things and once it comes to implementation we can know that but as of now I do not dislike any thing of it but my only concern is security..

I would recommend strongly to get this AWS IoT implemented in the work place since there is a lot of scope and there is a lot of future ahead..

Application development at all levels

its SDK's are available in many languages and easy to initialize.

It integrates very well with most of AWS's other services

Its monitoring feature could use some improvement.

data is not displayed in a very friendly manner.

Easy Setup, Integration with other AWS Services and adoptable.

for a newbie it takes time to understand concept of Things, Certificates & Policies.
