"Better than Gong in my opinion"
What do you like best about Avoma?

The layout is very friendly and intuitive.

I especially like how well done the transcription of a meeting is.

One of the main benefits to our organization is that Avoma is very versatile and fits the needs of several departments. It's not just a tool for Sales or Customer Success; we can go back and look at how internal meetings went with product and engineering teams. It saves time over reaching out to these departments, which often are halfway around the world, and cuts out the need to wait 12 - 24 hours for a reply.

More than anything, though, are the notes... Identifying Key Words and recommending action items based on those keywords increases productivity and reduces effort. Great for reviewing the call with minimal effort.

What do you dislike about Avoma?

These are more minor gripes than dislikes, but I feel certain features, such as tagging, could use more work. It takes a little more time to process and inform you that your recording is ready. However, that isn't so much a concern since the links will most likely be emailed later anyway. Rarely do people send the follow-up email directly after the meeting; it usually takes time, regardless.

What problems is Avoma solving and how is that benefiting you?

Number 1 is it gives visibility to teammates and leadership in your calls. Some would consider this a con and not a pro, but for an organization that works well together, being able to use previous Kickoff Calls, Training Calls, etc., as training tools or templates to improve future calls. Saving to other places like Google Drive gets messy quickly, Avoma doesn't have that problem.

Another problem it solves is the ability to never "forget" to record. Its automatic Notetaker and automatic recording are extremely useful and one less thing to interfere with the flow of a call.

Lastly, the analytics afterward is not necessarily a main priority for us; however, they are extremely helpful in improving our teams' calls. It is teaching Active Listening to some while teaching others to be more proactive in meetings. These are things that would often fall on their managers, and it frees up time for managers to review them in a matter of seconds while also giving the user that same insight.

What do you like best about Avoma?

Avoma is an amazing platform that allows me to fully concentrate on my conversations without the worry of missing important points, as it efficiently captures and transcribes everything.

What do you dislike about Avoma?

The meeting transcripts are not always 100% accurate, leading to potential inaccuracies in the transcriptions which may need to be manually corrected. But the general topic of the discussion is always easily understandable.

Overall, Avoma helps us improve our meeting efficiency, increase transparency, and streamline communication, leading to increased productivity and better collaboration.

"Game changer"
What do you like best about Avoma?

The ability to automatically document all of our company's calls, both internal and external, has changed how we do business. Our sales process has improved 10x, and there is no longer a reason to have a disagreement on "I never said that" - simply pull up the transcript! It also integrates nicely with our CRM system. We use it for every call that we have.

What do you dislike about Avoma?

It can be a little overwhelming to get started, but their support team is excellent.

What problems is Avoma solving and how is that benefiting you?

Having templeted notes being automatically generated is our number one use. It has helped improve our sales process and provided an easy solution for sales coaching, giving us insights we never had before.

"Wonderful product, wonderful staff"
What do you like best about Avoma?

It is very user friendly, great AI functionality and many different tricks to enhance your daily activities. I thought I knew how to use it but then had a training session with Allen, one of their customer success team members and he taught me and my team so many more tools and functions of Avoma that we were not even aware of. I am so excited to learn more and use it every day!

What do you dislike about Avoma?

The download function going to a zip file sometimes causes some issues for my clients but thats really it.

What problems is Avoma solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps take notes during complex and technical meetings. It organizes the meeting notes and breaks them down to specific takeaways and key points.

"Excellent summaries and integrations with tools"
What do you like best about Avoma?

An incredible tool that combines its own power with other tools we commonly use. Auto identifying feedback for PLG and pain points for Success, as well as syncing notes with our CRM. Reviewing other calls also allows discussions to continue and keep things async

What do you dislike about Avoma?

Integrations with tools have been great but it has been tough to get some details out of Avoma and into the right place. I will note that their API is in early access and the Support team have been excellent with supporting our use cases so this is a small negative that is being actively worked on.

What problems is Avoma solving and how is that benefiting you?

Avoma is definitely helping to help remote first companies work asynchronously and exposing knowledge across teams. Engineers do not need to be brought into calls but can review pain points and comment on requirements or possible workarounds.

What do you dislike about Avoma?

The only downside is the interruption of Avoma at the start of a meeting detailing that they are taking notes

What problems is Avoma solving and how is that benefiting you?

Remove the need for paper notes, summarising meetings, providing data on sales meetings.

"Avoma is amazing!"
What do you like best about Avoma?

Avoma is wonderful to not only record, transcribe and pinpoint specific pain points in a conversation, but it allows us to easily look back at meetings in an organized fashion, and provide specific snippets for direct review.

What do you dislike about Avoma?

The transcription can sometimes be incorrect in some conversations, but this is also attributed to the speed by which we talk and whom we're speaking to.

What problems is Avoma solving and how is that benefiting you?

Transcription, identifying key factors and points in a conversation to review without having to listen to or watch the entire meeting. It's an efficient tool.
