It is very easy and usefull to draft 2D drawings in AutoCAD. It supports .DWF and .DWG format files. It can also integrate with other 3D modelling softwares.

I don't find any issue at all while doind 2D drafting. For 3D modelling it is not much useful at the time.

Creating 2D drawings for manufacturing purpose. Creating wirecut data. Creating drawings in layers.

The most useful thing i love in AutoCad was its support LISP feature so that i can make my own commands for faster work and its simplicity

There is no dislikes from my side to this software

Basically i design enclosures for pcb's,so i can import dxf file of pcb's to autocad make layouts of my own enclosures and this only support by autocad ,no other cad softwares don't have this type of feature .

It is helping in creating 2-D ductworks and Plumbing pipes in the floor plan. The ability of many tools just like area command, hatch command, layer freeze command, table command and viewcube, etc.

It is a very tedious job when imagined for section view of some complicated ductworks and pipings as this is 2-D software compare to Revit.

It is very much useful while working on a very big project of 20000 and more sq. ft. At that time, there were several schedules to be used for different mechanical equipment, air terminal, exhaust fan, gravity ventilator, water heater, water pump and bill of materials, etc. Schedule is done in excel and then linked in AutoCAD through table command. This is a very less time-consuming feature. It is also used for low-budget clients when their requirement is less.

The ease-to-use user interface and the commands more specifically for the mechanical design increase the overall productivity of the design.

The 3D part of the Autocad Mechanical is not up to the mark.

Main thing I like about the 'AutoCAD' is ability to draw 2D objects. Another thing is its accuracy and features like to change units of drawing for dimentions. Also its Layer feature is very useful.

Main thing is not able to design/ draw 3D objects like other Design software. Another bad thing is it is expensive.

Autocad solve my measuring problem. It gives precious and accurate measure. It increase workflow due to ease of use with other design softwares. Also it supports multiple file design formates.
