"@work has everything your business needs, especially for remote work"
What do you like best about @work?

With built in chat, the app serves the common communication needs for distributed teams. The Announcement, Company Feed, and Survey are also really nice to engage your employees. It’s actually a neat app that I stumbled across after going through a demo with them and not expecting to use it. And it’s affordable too.

What do you dislike about @work?

The sidebar is limited to one customizable feature. There are five icons but the top 2 and bottom 2 can’t be changed and there isn’t an option to pin more.

What problems is @work solving and how is that benefiting you?

It’s more affordable compared to a lot of collaboration apps on the market. This is great, especially for bigger teams who want to get everybody on board.

"@work is very business-specific, which is great for companies."
What do you like best about @work?

Love the ease of announcing employees with company news using the announcement and survey features and almost every result can be exported in form of Excel files

What do you dislike about @work?

The free version does have customizable themes. With the paid version, you can customize the look of the app with your company logo and colors.

What problems is @work solving and how is that benefiting you?

@work includes most of the separate communication apps we were using before. There are also some bonus features like the survey and announcement that we’ve used for employee feedback. Overall, the app has helped our team work smoother and more efficiently.

"It’s been convenient for us since we don’t need to switch apps when using the different features."
What do you like best about @work?

The app is easy to learn and provides solid security for chats and business communications with end-to-end encryption. Besides, it’s great that I can share files between my team directly and they are systematically kept.

What do you dislike about @work?

The free version doesn’t have a lot of storage space so it might fill up quickly, especially for bigger businesses.

What problems is @work solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our team likes the feeling that our company information is as safe as possible. With leaks and hacks always going on, security is a major focus for us.

"The effective collaboration tool for internal use"
What do you like best about @work?

Using @Work lead us to have better ability to communicate with our people in every situation. It’s easy for staffs to follow up about internal stuff. The application really helps us to keep things on the right track and well-manage tasks assigned. The ability to share images, video and big size of files in every form with ease is way better compared to other applications.

What do you dislike about @work?

I personally don’t like its design which seem too clean and simple. Moreover, I would be so appreciated if they come up with calendar or any reminder features. That would be really helpful to follow works assigned.

What problems is @work solving and how is that benefiting you?

Company’s employees are easily staying connected and following up what’s going on using the feature provided. Also, the flexibility of the application and employee engagement is so helpful for us to rely less on emails and paper works and that really save time and cost.

"The @Work app is definitely a good choice for an engineering or IT team"
What do you like best about @work?

So the @Work app is definitely a good choice for an engineering or IT team. It has a lot of features that will help your team improve their productivity. The key features are:

Matter Screen: This screen has three useful widgets, which are Announcement, Learn@Work and Meet@Work. Announcement is a good place to send general announcements for your team, Learn@Work is for posting upcoming courses or seminars useful for your team, and Meet@Work shows the team members any upcoming meetings.

Chat: This is a persistant chat interface, similar to other apps of this type. It is easy to set up individual chats and group chats, and it also very straight forward for sharing images. It has a context menu for setting up voice or video calls. Screensharing is similar to how it is done in competing apps.

Learning@Work: This is the main screen for Learning, which is referenced by the Matter screen. This shows coursework and progress for your team. With this feature, I imagine @Work could also work well for a training center or college course. Of course, most IT companies have required training, so this will work for that as well.

Feed: This is where you can set up a news feed. Basically, this is for persistant information that you'd like to keep available. It is easy to use and supports posting images. It you post a link to something, it will share the link with a short description based on the Web page parameters. (It does the same thing in chat, but chat is meant for less persistent content.)

Services: This shows widgets related to File(Cloud Storage), Learn Admin(Learning@Work Administration), Learn@Work Service Widget, Meet@Work Service Widget, Support@Work(for contacting the @Work support team), and Survey@Work (which is for setting up surveys for your team). You can also add other services and useful Web links to this section.

Profile: This is you user profile, which shows all of your posts, your Friends list, and your user information. This is where you can add a picture of yourself as well.

Menu: This has typical menu items like Edit functions with undo and redo and similar commonly used functions.

Gear Menu: This has more advanced settings for your @Work team, for example, it allows you to set themes for the @Work app. It covers a comprehensive list of settings which I won't go over in this reviews.

Based on my usage of @Work, I think it is a great collaberation tool for any corporate or education team, I think you should certainly consider it as an alternative to some of the other commonly used corporate communication tool.

What do you dislike about @work?

I didn't see any downsides that would make me not recommend the product, but I did have a problem signing up. I think this problem only affected me, and the @Work team resolved the problem very quickly. Ultimately the responsiveness of their support team impressed me, they were much faster than some bigger company's support staff.

What problems is @work solving and how is that benefiting you?

@Work solves problems of communication, collaboration, and time management. It has an impressive business-focused feel unlike some of it's more consumer-oriented competitors.
