What I like best about ArcGIS Online is its seamless integration of mapping and analysis tools within a cloud-based platform.

While ArcGIS Online is a robust and comprehensive platform, there are a few areas of opportunity that could enhance the user experience.

The cost of subscription plans might be a consideration for smaller businesses. Introducing more flexible pricing options or a tiered structure could make the platform more accommodating to different budget constraints.

The credit system that the platform manages seems good to me, perhaps a greater number of them could also be offered, allowing you to carry out more complex practices.

Normally, data analysis requires the use of different specialized tools. ArcGis Online has the necessary functions to perform data analysis that includes locations or can be displayed on a map.

I have been able to use the tool for education and consulting, in the first I give professionals who are about to graduate from a university degree more tools to perform effective data analysis.

In the consulting part I have been able to teach companies and civil society organizations to get the most out of their data.

Its a quite easy to use and make the project deliver on time with its tools and features

It is super easy to get setup and use. We use it every day. I use ArcPro desktop and publish to ArcGIS Online.

They recently changed the workflow for accessing group contents, and it is not as linear as it used to be.

We need to be able to share mapped data, related to spreadsheets, online with team members across the country. We also use Field Maps to get data from field agents.

Easy to use. Appealing interface. Reputable brand in GIS world.

Can be difficult to teach others how to use. Appears overwhelming to those who are unfamiliar with the program.

I recently got into ArcGIS online development to show employers my knowledge in mapping technology as well as how I can easily integrate Salesforce Sales Cloud / Maps with ArcGIS online cloud services. I enjoy being able to map my data and connect my salesforce data to make better use of location services.

None of note. The UI is easy to understand and navigate and the learning curve to use ArcGIS online per se is not too steep. Even without tutorial videos, I can easily click around to find out where everything is, and as my ArcGIS online instructor says, when mapping, it's easy to find useful hidden capabilities if you right-click on data points such as buildings (vectors), addresses (points), and streets (lines).

Since ArcGIS Online is a cloud-based online platform, it provides flexibility and convenience to work remotely. It provides access to a huge collection of databases from a number of sources that enhances the maps and analysis

The cost of subscription for ArcGIS Online is a significant issue. Besides, some of the geoprocessing functions in AcrGIS Dextop are not present in ArcGIS Online.

For my analysis of air quality research in terms of figuring out the spatial distribution of pollutants with regards to land use - land cover pattern. I use it as a mapping tool for my research

It is a cloud-based application for creating interactive web maps. Its graphical user interface is very interactive and user-friendly. We can create maps, share maps and apps within and outside the ArcGIS Online Organisation, collaborate with other ArcGIS Online Organisations, and more. Analyse and work with your data.

ArcGIS Online has nothing that you would dislike. The only thing to remember is that everything we do in ArcGIS Online consumes credits, so to avoid excessive and unnecessary credit consumption, make sure you manage and use it appropriately.

I am primarily in a support role, assisting my users with their ArcGIS Online-related queries, so I am familiar with the majority of the features in ArcGIS Online, not only the core features but also the ArcGIS Online apps, and it is this that has made the entire experience of creating interactive maps and sharing them with the world a better platform.

Since its a SAAS product it has to be always used in the presence of internet.

Esris monopoly on the GIS world makes the products licensing a costly affair. Although its worth the pay which is delivered.
