Understand behaviors to focus on, how much, and why
The assessment is easy to read, digest and understand and Aptology staff provide consultation on how to ferret out issues and help to develop questions that address concerns raised by the assessment
What is least helpful would be taking a piece of the assessment out of context. I haven't identified any downsides
Avoiding the wrong fits for our organization. Those we have hired who have taken the assessment have all worked out well. One major hire whom we didn't run through the process didn't last long. I expect the assessment might have identified some of the issues
Really helps in understanding the key behaviors that reps should focus on; specific and easy to understand. The hiring survey is quick and insightful - now use it for all sales.
Initial setup could really be faster - easiest is an exported report from Salesforce. Wish interview and coaching tips could easily be emailed or forwarded.

The challenge we faced was ensuring that a relatively young team in a very challenging work environment was highly collaborative and highly productive. Given the incredibly high cost of making the wrong hire, I find the Aptology approach to provide instrument based predictive insights into behaviors and outcomes to be incredibly helpful. Just as importantly, once the right people are in the door, the identified behaviors can then be further encouraged and rewarded.
Not much to dislike to be honest. If I had to make a suggestion it would be to continue efforts to demystify the science behind the approach so that gaining internal stakeholder support is streamlined.
Objective input is now available during the hiring process, and clear behavioral coaching helps to reinforce approaches that will result in an increased order capture percentage.
The ability to have views into behaviors from a unified platform is hugely impactful. The Aptology team has been great to work with. Not only do they deliver transformational technology but they are deep experts in all aspects of using behavioural models, analytics and science to help impact hiring (more certainty of success and removing unconscious bias with regards to DEI), targeted enablement/training and coaching.
It would have helped us move faster if they had a couple of templates for hiring. The customized profile was extremely insightful, but having a "ready to go" template for the smaller teams would have helped.
We wanted to personalize coaching with deep insights, better understand mobility within groups, and be able to identify strengths to lean in on versus just gaps to focus on. Given our fast growth at scale with lots of new people being hired and a pretty low tenure due to that growth, improvements in these areas can dramitcally improve productivity and ramp time which directly impacts revenue.
