It includes all necessary modules/functions, from Order entry to shipment.
Integration with third-party applications is difficult. i.e. Proship, Paypal.
Can't wait to try the cloud-based version...
Warehouse shipping issue, order total discrepancy.
Apprise is comprehensive software that does a good job of meeting most needs a company has for ERP software. It is nice to have a complete one-stop software package.
Since moving to version 8.2 we have experienced a large number of bugs and problems that we did not see in version 7.6. I believe the jump to the WebUI was done before the UI was fully tested. We were and still are unable to use the WebUI due to missing functionality we rely on every day. We just installed SP26 and some of the issues are fixed but some still remain. Using the desktop MSI is a far better experience than the WebUI.
Support services have also slipped from prior years. We have cases that linger in the queue for weeks if not longer. Anything that goes to programming for review or to be fixed is like dropping into a black hole. We have had cases drag on for months when in programming.
Overall, the system is reasonably good and we certainly run our business using it. We have found work-arounds for the things that don't work correctly for the most part. I will say that since we moved to version 8.2 many of our users have lost confidence in Apprise.
Update 10/27/2022
Some of the bugs we identified in 8.2 have been addressed and the software is working well for us. It is my understanding that the current version of the MSI will not be updated, eventually pushing everyone to the WebUI. This was expected. It is my hope that version 8.3 has signficant improvments to the WebUI. We are planning a move to 8.3 early in 2023.
Case response times have been improving somewhat. I believe Aptean is making an effort to address this issue.
We use Apprise as our exclusive ERP software, so it "solves" most of our problems one way or the other. It is flexible and comprehensive. Most of our benefits have come in the WMS area as we have been able to further automate our warehouse tasks.
Really easy to use. Apprise has manuals and support team to help
The versions are always updating and which that are new features
We are able to track and set up items using apprise
I love that we have the ability to upload data from excel & store the data in a user friendly place. I also like the ease of setting up & running easy to read reports.
There is not much that I dislike, however one thing would be that the modules were complicated to use at first glance.
I would recommend this product to other companies as it is, in my experience, a better solution than other PMS's. It has much more to offer in regards to reporting abilities & ease of use.
We are able to cut our time setting up products down entirely as we are able to upload our data from Microsoft Excel, which we were using anyway. This is a huge time saver & benefit for my team.

Since our initial installation six years ago, we have implemented several improvements to Apprise, and our list of proposed improvements continues to grow! We have successfully upgraded to the latest version three times in six years, and the upgrades were smooth and easy. This level of continuous improvement was not possible with our previous ERP.
After initially being purchased by Aptean, their service levels suffered. Service levels have improved dramatically since then, but they are still not at pre-purchase levels, in my opinion.
Our direct vendor shipment (DVS) business has taken off in the last few years. Between the upgraded functionality in Apprise and the integration with ProShip, we've easily kept up with this growing demand.
