What do you like best about Appcues?

With Appcues, I enjoy being able to pinpoint and target specific groups of users. I also love the flexibility of designing the entire experience to fit my audience. Additionally, the launchpad capabilities allow me to switch up my approach and be prescriptive with materials by targeting the exact page users are on to surface the appropriate materials. Launchpad functionality eliminates constant popups that may bother the user experience.

I would also be remiss if I didn't include the Onboarding and Support Teams of Appcues. They are top-tier and provide some of the best experiences I have been a part of as a user. I even asked a direct question on LinkedIn after watching a video, and Lyla, whom I had not met then, sent me a resource to answer my question on the spot. Clearly, the Team loves their roles, and they excel at them.

What do you dislike about Appcues?

There are two pieces of functionality that I think are missing from Appcues. One would be the ability to organize your flows into folders for organizational purposes. You do have the ability to add tags, but sometimes it can become confusing. I want to organize by purpose or product launch. The second piece is the ability to customize the NPS functionality more. I want to be able to ask an additional question or change the position on the screen. We also want the ability to run two concurrently as we have 2 different platforms and 2 different audience bases.

What problems is Appcues solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before installing Appcues, we had a hands-on approach to implementation and onboarding. Now we are creating a strategy around a more automated process that allows us to focus on the more complex implementations. Also, we are using it to drive engagement, change users' expectations, and let them know they are partners in driving their ROI. We are also using it on the other side of the house to convert users into creating an account to drive more overall stickiness of our platform.

1) Easy to build appealing onboarding tour

2) Great tutorial

3) Robust analytics

4) Multiple built-in templates and different types of flows (tooltips, modal, etc.)

What do you dislike about Appcues?

1) Relatively limited custom survey capability

2) Only one NPS survey

3) Initially difficult to use it with IFrame pages

What problems is Appcues solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use Appcues to help with the new customer onboarding experience. We just started using it and haven't realized the full potential yet, but we are very excited to see how this can become a great tool to improve the new user onboarding experience.

What do you like best about Appcues?

It is an easy to use tool with a good number of features. They had good designs. Can Integrate with Hubspot.The integrations can be setup quick and simple. Segmentation feature is useful. Help to target and position our users. The team is responsible to take care our questions and concerns. The platform is beginner friendly and can be implemented quickly. It is a super tool for our daily marketing uses.

They have most of the features we need for our marketing purpose and working fine so nothing to dislike

Installing Appcues in our software was an easy and straightforward process. Setting up flows is uncomplicated and easy to grasp. Overall a very good experience.

What do you like best about Appcues?

We've been using Appcues for a few years now and really like the simplicity of using the product, but that it still offers the flexiblity to customize the design so it can match our product's look and feel.

What do you dislike about Appcues?

The builder auto saves the Flows and then you can't easily undo changes if you were simply trying out some design or layout changes. I like that auto saves, but I wish you could easily undo changes incase you changed your mind.

What problems is Appcues solving and how is that benefiting you?

Getting information infront of our users in a targeted way and walking users through our product to help increase adoption. This helps us ensure timely communication to our users, and helps them learn of features they aren't currently leveraging.

What do you like best about Appcues?

Everything! As a UX designer, I love the UI of Appcues and how easy it is to build and test flows, share them with stakeholders, and launch them when ready. The user segmentation and targeting are very specific and that is good for our needs!

What do you dislike about Appcues?

It took us awhile to define goals and understand the reporting, but once we were able to implement those it has been great.

What problems is Appcues solving and how is that benefiting you?

Appcues has reshaped how we handle user onboarding, collecting NPS, new feature launches and release updates, demos for prospective clients, help and support in the product and more! The integrations with our CMS have been so helpful and gets data to the various departments that need them.

What do you like best about Appcues?

The product is so flexible and their team is really responsive. There's been a bunch of new features released since we've had it and it's been an incredibly useful product for us.

What do you dislike about Appcues?

There isn't really anything I dislike, I would like the Salesforce and Slack integrations to work a bit differently but overall we've been able to adapt to what we need.

What problems is Appcues solving and how is that benefiting you?

It's helping us to move our users through different processes we have off our platform faster. We will also be launching a new site shortly where we'll use Appcues to help guide people through the platform.

The intuitive and easy creation of flows for the users. We have delivered users a good experience while they onboarded for the first time to the product, which is very important.

I think appcues covers most part. But some flexibililty in NPS part, it is currently stick with the questions which is not customizable.

What do you like best about Appcues?

I absolutely love this tool! As a non-tech person fully responsible for managing Appcues for our product, it's been so easy to work with. What I like the most is the broad variety of design and logic, as well as the constant development and new improvements on their end. The support documentation is also very clear, and each time I was in touch with the Appcues Team, they've been very helpful and kind.

Nothing to dislike. Naturally, they always improve their product and add new features, so it's just about exploring new things that can be achieved with Appcues or problems for our end-users that can be solved even more efficiently.

What problems is Appcues solving and how is that benefiting you?

For our software, we utilize Appcues for new user onboarding, new feature adoption, and other important announcements and event invitations. Since implementing Appcues into our software, there's been significantly less need for support or onboarding from our users. We're software that's constantly improving and adding new features, so it's also critical for us to keep our users up-to-date and make sure they adopt new changes, which is where Appcues plays a huge role.
