Machine Translation Service
I can read articles or websites in my own language that were writing in another
Sometimes it converts an English site to another language and you have to get Amazon translate to convert it back
I use it mostly for personal but occasionally for business. It helps me to broaden my search for information into any source no matter what language or county of origin. The service provides consistently fast and reliable translations.
This app has been so useful and reliable that, against my nature, I'm giving it 5. I use the program for French and Spanish, and the people who ought to know say they can hear my great accent in my letters. :) It has accurately translated everything I've thrown at it, some of it pretty complicated. It has done so whether I've spoken or typed what I want to translate. You can type, set speech for one person, or speech to translate back and forth. This is science fiction made real. I can't really give you a great comparison to other programs because I've only tried a few. This one worked so well that I didn't bother looking at more apps. I also have iTranslate, though I don't use it. You know how that goes. :)
You don't know me, and are reading this to help you make a decision. I take that seriously. Based on my experience with the two languages mentioned, this program has done an excellent job and I recommend it for correspondence and actual verbal use in the real world if everyone speaks clearly. 5 stars for ease of use and reliability.
The idea behind this app was good, but sometimes the detected words and phrases would not translate. The app would just grind, and no translation was ever produced.
Totally would recommend it to all my friends to at least try.
Simple texts are easily translated and gives me more understanding about other languages.
I love that its so easy to use! I used it mainly for spanish and some french. I love the accuracy of it, i speak spanish but some words i still need translated to me.
It freezes up sometimes but that honestly might just be my phone, its pretty old school
If we have any only spanish speakers that come in we can communicate easily without having to have a spanish speaking person present to translate.
I like that it asks you if you want things translated, because sometimes I don’t.
Sometimes the translations are just a little bit off, or don’t make as much sense in English.
Sometimes I need to purchase music or books that are not available in the US and have had to use Amazon’s EU site. I wouldn’t have been able to purchase necessary sheet music with out the translations.
Amazon Translate is super easy to implement for business uses and I highly recommend it over other automated machine translation services, especially as it is continuously learning.
No matter what product you use, machine translations will NEVER be perfectly accurate, so depending on your use case, you may want to pay someone who actually speaks the language to translate for you.
My recommendation to others is that Amazon Translate is a great tool powered by an AWS backbone which guarantees reliability and speed.
Automated web translations of content for multicultural markets.
What I like most about this app is that count with every languages, it is very useful and practical to use and make my work and study so much easier

Sometimes other services I find to be more accurate but for the most part it works well
English to Spanish translation which is very helpful for me
The quality is really good, our native speaking agents have this in our ticket system and in the chat they have google translate and they think the translation for aws translation works better and its cheaper then google translate and it works smooth with the rest of the aws services
Can't really see any downside on the service beside its hard to tag the cost when multiple services is using the service
We are using this service in zendesk where chat is translated by google translate and tickets by amazon translate and our agents that speaks the native languages that gets translated states that amazon translate have better translations
Translate all none english tickets to customser service so they can be quick to work on the case and send back the reply that gets translated to the local customer language
Easy to use and provides accurate translations.
The few limitations leave words left out
It is a fast easy way to include languages for non-english speakers in the workplace

Amazon translate allow me to translate words and even batch i can do real time translation and Amazon translate also have auto language detection and one final thing I love about Amazon translate is it can process various file format.
Amazon translate is a decent software the only thing i feel they need to improve is Amazon translate offers less amount of languages in comparison to other translation software in market.
Amazon translate helps me to do real time translation and whenever I need to convert different file formats to another language also it provide me enough languages.
