We are using Amazon Simple Notification for a wide variety of use cases such as budget alerts, and daily snapshot creation notifications, recently used it for a DevOps use case with Codebuild for getting notifications if the build fails, and the most interesting fact about SNS is it super easy-to-use service, which can be integrated with any AWS service easily, and effortlessly get implemented and that is the reason it is frequently used because of these features of it.

Amazon Simple Notification Service has absolutely nothing that can be disliked, as it is a cost-effective service that solves the main cause of concern when working with AWS services their high usage price.
