It's soooo easy to improve 508 usability and SEO requirements.

It doesn't always exactly match text for *specific site* SEO, but they have ways to improve the text generation for unique cases.

I host client WordPress sites. With the AltText WordPress plugin, I have been providing my clients with the option to quickly generate image alt text to improve their SEO.

I like how I can give is some keywords to use when describing the meta tag information it will generate. I can also give is some negative keywords which is also a plus. It is easy to start using it. I starrted using it the same day for our agency website.

I think that if they are asking me to upload an image I should be able to download it already labeled. Alot of the times I am having to copy and paste what it generated. I also wish the had a bulk upload option. I would use it more often if I could bulk upload more images.

I am saving time having to assign a team member the task of describing each image and having to find the best keywords that match what the image contains.

With the number of images I have to upload, ALTText saves me time in describing what is in each photo. I have always struggled with this a bit and before finding this tool it took me much longer with each image upload. now I just tweak what AltText suggests.

I've been using AltText.ai for months now and it's saved me and my team 100's hours on filling in ALT and TITLE tags for the many, many images we have on our websites. And the descriptions are always spot on. If you're like us where ALT tags are almost always fogotten entirely or until the last minute, I highly recommend you use this awesome tech.

To be honest, we haven't had any issues thus far. The descriptions are great, and we rarely have to edit them.

Installation and configuration are straightforward and simple.

The results are excellent. It can also consider the context of the image, like the post. And it also works for WooCommerce Products like a breeze.

For photography images, it is superb (Product-Shots, Events, People, Offices, Architecture, etc. – perfect).

I also like the bulk action: Generate, for all images that do not already have ALT texts, automatically AI ALT texts in bulk.

I am using it for WordPress & WooCommerce (with the WP Plugin).

For Blogs with multiple authors, it is good because the authors tend to ignore ALT -texts ;-)

The only downside is that it does not work so well for rough Illustrations, Icons and simpler things, but that is no wonder and can be ignored.

And of course, it is credit-based. I guess openAI-API – so no wonder.

But the time-saving makes these small amounts a no-brainer…

I can't really thing of something to add. It just works and I dont think about it.

I can't even complain about the cost or the monthly credit limits.

Things I hate about adding images to my posts. They take time, and properly adding alt text takes even more time.

This solved my time problem. And does a better job than I do of coming up with the right alt text to add.
