It is very easy to understand and User friendly software. One of the best tool for FE modelling, model building and Post processing.

As the company grows they are not focusing on quality of the toll, recent versions are not having enough quality, more no of file crashes, element type changes automatically when we export. Lot of bugs.

I am using for basically to build Fe model and input file creation some times i use for Optimization and Normal mode calculations.

The way how easy is to use it, the idea of making mesh independent of geometry is brilliant, maybe complicated GUI but in general easy to learn, and graphic performance

sometimes there are bugs in new releases, database is crashing from time to time with complicated models, I'm not convinced about being forced to use a new GUI in the future, and new versions are consuming a lot of ram memory. Price is also a bit to high, in my opinion, Altair is trying to use its "monopolistic" position and force high prices

User friendly and it will support to most of the analysis softwares. Easy to create fe mesh and easy to build Input model.

Mesh generation is littles slow and mesh flow is not accurate compare to comparators.

We prepare basic Fe models and input decks for simulation and for results verification we use hyperview.

It has a good number of varieties of solver supports. My favorite is optistruct, which I use for mashing, load setup, analysis and automated optimization of designs.

The user interface still looks like ancient technology. The features are unique but could have been presented more aesthetically and ergonomically for the endusers.

With hypermesh, I am able to mesh very complex designs and reun mashing quality checks. Most of the times, the auto mesh feature gives me an acceptable mesh which I can directly use further with minor modifications.

Very user friendly tool for FE Modelling as compared to its competitors. Altair also provides its own implicit and explicit solver for structural analysis along with Hypermesh.

The updated version of Hypermesh some issues for import of geometry. The time required to import the native CAD was less in old version of hypermesh as compared to the new version.

It has made users very simple for deck setup for almost all the solvers. It is not only time saving but also reduces the repetition of the work. Along with its updated versions new features are being added to the software.

We used this software for our academic project, which deals with FEA and optimization under static loading conditions. At first, we tried analysis using another tool, but the amount of weight reduction and mesh quality was not very good. What we notice about our user experience is that the meshing and optimization are excellent. This software can frequently build a high-quality tetra mesh quickly and effortlessly, even for highly complex geometry. They also offer several options to regulate the mesh's outcome. Additionally, the weight loss and iteration count were significant.

UI is complex, and API is also not that user-friendly.

Requires high-end Laptops to get results.
