Almabase has made it easy for us to gather updated information about our alumni in a way that we never have before. It is also easy for alumni to connect with each other directly. We are very appreciative of the Almabase team, who has worked closely with us on modifications and customizations and is genuinely vested in our success. They are a partner in our alumni engagement program and are always innovating to help us succeed.
The filter function of the directory is only as good as the data that is in our system. Because alumni often self-report industry, experience and education information, there are inconsistencies in entry. Having drop-downs for fields like college/university or industry would make data more consistent and easier to filter correctly. We've been working with Almabase on standardizing some sign-in fields (to which they have been very responsive), and I hope we can continue to improve on this.
Almabase's integration with Raiser's Edge allows alumni to see their profile information, update it and then we can count on that information updating our database. This is a huge upgrade from our current "update your contact information form" that we have on our website, which did not allow alumni to view their personal profile and update accordingly. We believe that we can achieve critical mass on our platform, we will have increased engagement not only with our school, but between alumni. We are also excited about using Almabase Events, which will sync event participation information into our RE database.
The quality of every type of engagement - communications, fundraising, event management, alumnae connectivity - has improved using Almabase. Customer support from Almabase is second to none.
I have no complaints about the platform whatsoever. The only challenge is activating everything Almabase can do!
Almabase has streamlined everything we do. We needed a highly functional platform with communications capabilities to integrate with our new website and Raiser's Edge NXT. We were looking to increase donations through several types of campaigns, including peer-to-peer fundraising. We were looking for event management that would accommodate complex events with lots of sub-events and price points for registration. Beyond our needs to our wishlist, Almabase has provided everything we were looking for and more. For example, Madeira offers award-winning internship and mentorship programs to our students, and the Almabase platform provides functionality to support both programs. Most importantly, when we realized that the versatility of Almabase would benefit our entire community, not just alumnae, the Almabase team helped us pivot and launch as a community platform.
Their customer service is outstanding. Around-the-clock, live help ensured our success and eased my mind as our campaign progressed. We have been with Almabase for 4 years and the event has grown in revenue and donors gained each year.
Additional web design options would be great but not necessary. And the auto-generated thank you's are currently pending. Otherwise I have been very happy with the team.
They have made the web design of Giving Day seamless. They are also the most reasonably priced contract we found with the various giving day platforms. Our donor base has grown, as has our dollars raised.

It has enabled me to launch a new alumni platform to grow the network and which allows alumni to communicate with each other.
Learning how to use the directory feature was very helpful for our organization. It increased our alumni engagement and ability to gather information from our alumni base. Working with the Almabase team was terrific. Our contact, Rishika, felt like an extension of our internal team. She was always available with insight and ideas on how to maximize the features on the platform to help support our initiatives.
I cannot say that I dislike anything in particular at this point. Overall, the platform is very user-friendly and intuitive. For me, it's more an issue of bandwidth and setting aside the time to learn and maximize all the available features on the platform. We have yet to create a fundraising campaign through Almabase - we have that on our plan for the upcoming quarter and are excited to give it a try!
Almabase has provided a space for our alumni to connect and be in a community with each other. It has helped our organization update contact information on our alumni and shares organizational news and updates with them. One of the main benefits is creating a space for alumni to connect and communicate in a secure setting.

Though most features are customizable, there are a few that are not, though I would change them if I could. Certainly not a dealbreaker, and nothing that is highly important.
I have absolutely nothing bad to say about Almabase. From my first encounter with Chris, my sales representative, to ongoing work with Rishika in customer success, I have been totally pleased. They are knowledgable about their product, incredibly patient, and easily accessible. Please give Almabase an opportunity - you will definitely be impressed.
I am about to launch, but I anticipate that the ability of the alumni to network in a safe environment, plus be able to reach out to each other, will be incredible.
Almabase simplifies configuring events and delivers a much more user-friendly experience for our constituents than any platform we have used in the past.
As with any new platform, some internal process adjustments are necessary, but the Almabase technical support team is very responsive and helped us through these transitions.
The end-user experience for our constituents has improved 200% and the platform offers a modern look to our event pages. The dashboards are also excellent.

Almabase allowed our school to create an active Alumni base from scratch! We went from zero Alumni, active contact information to over 600 in less then a year! Nikita was with us every step of our journey helping with set-up to design. Almabase gave our Alumni a "place" to call their own. It also was the central hub where we collected and kept-up with all of our Alumni. We were able, with a push of a button, to communicate with all of our Alumni!
