For example, if I wanted to create user groups on the same platform, it can be difficult if not impossible. The developers of the tool may include this feature to help with the organizational roles within the business environment. Through organization in the form of user groups, you can manage your marketing teams with ease. Also, it would better if they allowed you to create security groups all in the same platform.
PROS: The reporting functionality in the tool makes everything easy for us. Initially, we used spreadsheets. However, with the implementation of Allocadia, we are able to use them in an online platform. All our budget data we have put in the product which has helped us find new way to structure how we carry out our operations. When determining budgets you have to consider expenses. Allocadia has come in handy to help us know which reports are necessary in allocating and tracking budgets and expenses for our marketing teams. It is easy to use which gives our users the best experience and thus more productive.
CONS: All that Allocadia has to offer is good. On our part we have had great experience in using the most of the functionalities the tool has. For now, I cannot come up with anything that I dislike or disliked about the tool. However, it would be better if they improved on he already available features. This would help users and businesses to reap the best out of the product for their marketing campaigns.

My company just switched to Allocadia and it is a great tool so far. Allocadia makes it easy to search and find your line items. Layout is clear and running a report is simple. I love that there are required fields that help you complete each MIO accurately and with minimal changes, if any. It's very user friendly and visually self-guiding. Most importantly is the visibility this gives to the whole team and company. You can see real-time numbers and share your budget quickly.
Would like to see the ability to filter and sort on the main Activities screen. For example, sometimes I only want to see my unMIO'd line items and filter out the approved ones. Also, it would be nice to have the ability to tag just your programs since we share an Activity plan with a larger group of brands. This way you an filter just the programs and line items you created and not have to weed through other team member's.

Allocadia gives me a 360 view of the team's budget and allows me to quickly see what funds have been spent and what spend is remaining. Prior to this there was a lot of individual spreadsheets that had to be manually updated monthly. Allocadia has eliminated the need for all these different manual budget trackers. I also want to point out again that the visibility to senior members is key to walking them through what has been spent and what is remaining.
It's easy to see all of our marketing activities and budget at a glance. It's very flexible, allowing changes to labels and dollar amounts without disrupting anything. It encourages transparency and collaboration, and really demystifies the budget process. Bonus: Excellent customer services and integrations with other applications.
As with any powerful tool, there will be certain features that you don't need and can feel overwhelming. There is a bit of a learning curve to know where to look and determine what you need to pay attention to and what you don't.
Previously, our marketing budget was a black hole. We shared spreadsheets, or logged into a very buggy Oracle system that not everyone (e.g. Mac users) could access. Now our budget is very organized and transparent. We know where our money is being spent, where there are potential savings, and how to plan for monthly ups and downs.

PROS: When it comes to the interface, our team was able to find its way around it. It is simple and offer great user experience which is a plus on our part. It provided u with a jump start to aid our marketing team in utilizing the full potential of the tool. With the simple interface, they were able to find items they were looking for without much hustle. The reporting functionality is intuitive. It offers graphical representation for you to easily interpret and make decisions on the same. You can opt to have the reports or graphical representation detailed or not. With Allocadia, you can easily import items form NetSuite for mapping to discuss on those items in a meeting. They have topnotch customer support which is highly responsive when you experience issues with the tool. The experience we have had with this product is out of this world and we are happy all the way.
CONS: The tool is the best we have ever used. However, with the few glitches we have had in using the product, I can say for sure that their support team has been more than helpful. The only problem I had was making sure that our marketing team utilizes the Allocadia ID when making submissions. This issue is on our part and thus it would not be fair to put it on the Allocadia support team. Luckily, we are now used to the tool and the problem is no longer there.
