The benefit of using Akamai Identity Cloud is we can easily come to know about the customers that are using high technologies from the digital point of view. So we can come to know about this and we can improve from our side according to the customer present trend. The another good thing that Akamai Identity Cloud provide is Registration along with the login Authentication
The One thing that i do not liked about the Akamai Identity Cloud is their Multi Factor Authentication (MFA). The main reason behind that is we should always keep the second device in which MFA is enabled along with us during the time of login. So if that device is not with us then we are unable to login.
To use the cloud that provides the good amount of safety and is very fast in responding then i would recommend to use the Akamai Identity Cloud because of their very good feature which attracts the customer more towards them along with it the initial cost of Akamai Identity Cloud is also very less in compared to other cloud providers.
The best thing that Akamai Identity cloud provides is they are giving the access to a particular person o the basis of their role assigned to them so that's the biggest advantage that no one can access more than the role assigned to them so if anybody violates the policy it would be very easy to know about the person who have broken that particular policy
The advantages of the Akamai Identity Cloud is it's versatile availability in their cloud .One can easily be able access their data by using Akamai Identity Cloud at anytime. One can easily get their data because of their high speed processing capability. The biggest advantage is it provides helps by working 24*7 so we can easily get our data without the time issue. Akamai Identity Cloud helps the customer develop their company in a very faster and a smart way by keeping away the number of attacks and threats away from their company
Akamai Identity Cloud provides automation in many perspective and if it is build by only one person then the problem arises of the compatibility. If that person is not available and suppose any error takes place then it would be worst to get solved.
If one needs their data to be more secured and safe then he/she must use the Akamai Identity Cloud and it helps one to get their data easily accessible through any place and at any time
The good thing about the Akamai Cloud Identity is their low cost as it reduces the cost by not building the physical infrastructure and solving the technical issues which occurs every now and then . Akamai Identity Cloud saves our data from the number of attacks and number of IP trying to collect the data. Kona site defender helps to reduce the risk of downtime which is very good feature for a comapnu
The high availability and scalability feature is best in my opinion.
The initial implementation is very cumbersome; integrations are also a weak spot, and the ongoing cost to add more space.
Identity management can be simplified provided you can take the high cost in budget while planning to purchase.
The identity management for our users based on their OU roles is far easy to set up and we save on cost for infrastructure and cost to maintain them if they were on-premise.
Janrain brings together lots of functionality that you could build yourself, but they keep up the code for you.
The price seems a bit high for what you get.
User registration and login
Makes registering for your company website or store very easy. You can use facebook, twitter, google plus, etc... This saves the customer time and the annoyance of registering for your website. Very good concept.
Can get expensive

The security measures are excellent, which means we can feel confident that our sensitive information is well protected.
The initial setup is complicated, and integrating the system with other tools or software can be challenging. There are some expenses associated with expanding the storage capacity.
Using Akamai Identity Cloud saves us money by avoiding the cost of physical infrastructure while still enjoying top-level security.
The cloud system works properly without outtakes. The user experience is absolutely great, the 24 hours helpline calls back very fast. The technology of the outsourcing for big data volumes is perfect. The security seems to be on a high standard, the portfolio is safe.
Paying extra charges for additional space - needed cause the backups are needing space, but I think very old backups they could simply delete.
The first step was to find a alternative to the network server in company. With this we have the benefit to have the data protected out of the office, also the firewall is a important topic. No need any more to update and to pay for expensive licenses.
Janrain has several solutions, but in general the idea is to provide a tool for customer identity management.
The fact that they allow to authenticate from all the major social networks and email services and that allow you as a developer to capture relevant data to perform the authentication is a major plus.
You can allow any new or existing user from your website to authenticate from a social network like Facebook, Twitter, or even GMail is great because how many of us has forgotten a password to a website, but you will always have your email or social network opened.
Not only that but the metrics that it shows are very useful, and those allow you to take decisions.
Regarding the customer data feature, the profile data storage you would expect to be more flexible but it isn't. That's one thing that I don't like but it doesn't make it a bad tool after all since it has lot's of benefits.
There's also the fact that the idea is to develop less than having custom apps for each social network, but in the end, for providers like Facebook, Twitter, GMail, you have to create a basic app on their side and know how to pass that data to Janrain, but isn't that much extra work.
You have to have strong skills on scalability, web integration and some knowledge on how to create basic social media apps if you want to integrate with some of those.
I have used it a couple of times with large clients that require to allow new or existing users to authenticate in a website with a social network button or with a mail provider button.
You can either have one custom app for each social network or email provider, or have a cloud based solution that supports most of them.
The way we could back up the CDN files and other resource is easier and efficient. Makes development work easier
In terms of testing environments, It could have been better so no red flag raised. Performance in the test environments could have been better as well
Its a handy and defn go to services especially when it comes to storage and retrieval if a huge file. Most companies are going towards it as well
The Cloud Guru, Don't have to save up huge video files or image files and during the front end coding, the retrieval process is super easy
