I like the feature to integrate with AWS and it has the ability to simulate the real user experience to generate load in a different location from across the world. Integrated access to all major public cloud platforms, plus customers' internal private cloud and even bare-metal hardware for use in scalable internal and external tests.

CloudTest is a cloud-hosted tool, hence, the initial setup would need whitelisting to access on-premise application under test and this is a huge time taking action. Documentation needs improvement to debug the issues occurs during the test.

I recommend others to consider CloudTest

We were using the local machines to generate the load and it was not accurate and consistent. We moved to CloudTest which is hosted on the cloud and tested the application using loads from across the locations in a very short time.

I appreciate the ability to load test without needing to involve dozens of extra players on my side. CloudTest takes all the work off of my plate.

I do wish it was a bit cheaper. I could stand to load test more often than I do but the price is sometimes prohibitive.

Definitely pair this solution with a synthetic test like Rigor because otherwise, you'll miss a good portion of what the end user is seeing.

Far and away the best thing I have learned from CloudTest is how to better prepare my website for peak periods. I'm used to synthetic testing showing basic performance but knowing for sure how it responds when under load has helped me scale infrastructure to keep the experience as good as when it's not under as much load.
