I've been using Ahrefs for over three years, and I'm surprised by the number of negative reviews here. While there are occasional issues.. likely due to the enormous amount of data they manage and keep up to date. I believe the quality of the insights they provide is outstanding and well worth the premium cost.

Still love Ahrefs!

Well, back in 2018-2020 I also used Ahrefs for my websites. I came back late this year because I've started a new project.

I don't like the new usage system and since I am private person running on the lite plan, a 100 is still a hundred after tax. So, I also discovered the disadvantages by not being able to access some of the important tools and the ability NOT to update keywords etc.

Maybe you should allow private people a little more access to newer data. But I understand, that if you did so, everyone would sign up as private person or for a lite plan.

Why am I leaving 5 stars? Tried some of the other guys in this game, and that's not even a possibility.

Ahref is still the best (but please consider)!

"Invaluable SEO Data and Research"

What do you like best about Ahrefs?

The solution provides us with analytics and data on our website health and link profile that is accurate and up to date. The setup was easy and we use it daily. Have not reached out to them for support as the tool is intuitive and they have a great knowledge base. If you are focused on SEO, you will live in this tool.

What do you dislike about Ahrefs?

We have an older subscription which does not automatically update to the latest plan features.

What problems is Ahrefs solving and how is that benefiting you?

Accurate research on Domain Rank and link tracking and research. We also use the tool to monitor site health.

"Required tool if you are doing SEO"

What do you like best about Ahrefs?

Great at finding keywords to target. There are cheaper tools, but this is the best I have found for keyword research. It is also great at watching your websites and giving you a great analysis of how you are doing.

What do you dislike about Ahrefs?

It is expensive, especially for the number of times I use it each month. I wish they had another plan one tier lower.

Recommendations to others considering Ahrefs:

If you need to do keyword research and optimize SEO for your sites, then you need this tool. All other tools pale in comparison. If you are doing paid traffic, use Google Keyword Planner

Keyword research, organic traffic analysis, domain rating, etc. It helps me see the SEO trends for my sites

Ahrefs is like a suped-up personal browser into the technical aspects of the web - and if you know how to handle the power under the hood, you can power pretty much any kind of online commerce using Ahrefs as your primary tool.

What do you dislike about Ahrefs?

The learning curve is relatively steep compared to the competition. This is mitigated heavily by a thorough content marketing strategy that includes a hefty share of product-use articles.

What problems is Ahrefs solving and how is that benefiting you?

The problems being solved with Ahrefs are the SEO problems of our day - keyword research, content strategy and optimization, backlink analytics and acquisition - it functions as a fairly comprehensive one-stop-shop and the benefits are great! All of those problems can be overcome using the tool suite.

"Best SEO Audit Tool"

What do you like best about Ahrefs?

I have used many SEO analysis tools for many of my SEO projects but since last 1 year I have been using Ahrefs for all my SEO related activities like website analysis, keyword research, backlinks and more.

And I found Ahrefs to be a wonderful tool for doing these tasks. I have fixed many of the errors I identified through this tool and it has really improved my website's SEO score.

What do you dislike about Ahrefs?

There is nothing that I don't like about this amazing software. They have all the features that a SEO tool should have.

What problems is Ahrefs solving and how is that benefiting you?

From SEO audit to backlink analysis, it helped in every aspect. Many of my projects now have improved organic presence after using Ahrefs.

Why I love ahrefs! 👍

I love Ahrefs because it offers a complete SEO toolkit with data for backlink analysis, keyword research, competitor analysis, and site audits. It has a great UX/UI and it makes it easy to use for both beginners and professionals, helping more than just improve website visibility and organic traffic. I have been using ahrefs for more than 8 years and it's one of my go-to tools for research.
