If you use a lot of storage in Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 it can be costly to have everything backup at AFI. I think it's because they have a hot storage that is always available and fast. Maybe in the future they can consider also a more cold storage to older data.

This product JUST WORKS. It does what you need it to do, when you need it to do it. The UX is clean, the functionality is crisp and the support is great. I've used other software (Backupify & SpinOne) and AFI is simply in another league.
Implementation is a piece of cake. Install the app, finish the discovery, backup your accounts. No API issues, no user interaction. A true "set it and forget it".
I would like to see more features built in, better reporting and analytics. More out of the box integrations like Slack, Teams that are not Webhook based, but maybe app based with OAuth.

Excellent tool, the initial security backups (FULL) are carried out very quickly, in addition the attention via email to resolve doubts was the best, quick and very precise responses, 100% recommended!
I think they should reduce the cost a little when choosing the option to pay annually, that would make it more attractive, but nothing else is wrong

We have used this tool for years now.
It is reliable and never an issue.
When necessary, we have quickly restored files or a user without any issues.
Support is quick and easy. The interface allows the pasting of screenshots, which I love.
Support response time is good, even though no phone number is available; this has been more than sufficient for our needs. Support is knowledgeable and provides clear and easy instructions when necessary.
And the price is excellent. You'd think that because this is the lowest cost option, the features would be lacking somehow. The feature set is more than sufficient for our needs.
For Google Workspace, there is an option whereby all the objects a user can access are backed up (you need to ask support for this to be enabled), not just the things the user owns. So if there is a share in their folder that others use to create objects those objects are also backed up. For us, this is a critical feature.
Also, one can manage Google Workspace and Office 365 from one console, which is very convenient.
Backups can be done every 4 hours, suitable for high-value employees.
And there is an option to do a manual backup, which is very fast.
Restores are also quick and easy.
Pruning or removing objects/files that are no longer needed is easy. We have done this to reclaim space.
A daily report is sent summarizing the backups performed.
For anyone that needs a reliable service to backup Google Workspace email and Google Workspace Drives, and Office 365 Email, Sharepoint, and OneDrive, this is the tool for you. There are probably things I might have missed regarding what this tool can back up or do, but this is what we use it for.

Paging through a list of users could be improved. Especially when selecting a user, it would be convenient that when done, one returns to the page and user instead of going back to the first user on the first page.

Whatever AFI Backup for Google Workspace and Office 365 claims to do, this tool excels.
We use this tool to guard against the accidental deletion of emails, files and also against ransomware.
- Setup was quick. Less than 30 minutes and we were integrated.
- Interface is very easy to use and understand. I don't think I've seen a product as easy to use.
- Price is simple and reasonable. $3/user. Nothing else required.
Cannot choose your own storage.
If you stop the subscription, I would imagine you also lose access to the backups.
We need our cloud data to be backed up as Microsoft does not provide this service on their cloud.

Very easy to set up, requires minimal maintenance, very fast recovery speed.
Security is a separate distinctive feature ( ransomware alerting, encryption keys hosted by us, OKTA, alerts in MS Teams).
Documentation is relatively scarce, especially on the API part.
They don't support the Microsoft Multi-geo feature yet, you need to keep all backups in one location, they say it's on the roadmap for Dec,2021, will see.
We use it to backup end-users and SharePoint+Teams data daily. We didn't try archiving feature yet, but it looks promising in terms of cost savings with departed employees.
I really like how it integrates seamlessly with Azure, and it allows me to use the "Bring your own Encryption token." Users also have access to back up their data. I also like how it backs up SharePoint and Teams sites 3 times/per day. I needed to restore from backups in order to get some data that was deleted, and it worked. I also like how the M365 single sign-on just works. I didn't have to configure anything on my end.
In order to use the BYOD key, I need to set up a Google Cloud account. The Google key only costs me $0.12/month, so it is not a big concern, but now I am on all three major clouds.
This helps mitigate "fear of ransomware." Since we back up three times/day, I can sleep well at night.
The best support of M365 on the market. Very detailed support of SharePoint and Teams. Very easy to set-up, the only vendor to backup our domain for the first go without any troubleshooting.
Reporting API can be improved. Lack of Planner support.
