I have used two other aesthetic medspa EMR's in the past. AestheticPro is by far the most comprehensive, well thought-out application to manage my patient documents, clinical tracking, inventory and patient communication. Aesthetic Pro has excellent customer service and support videos to address any of the challenges I have had when I initially onboarded or after using the system for several months. The team is professional, responsive and always helpful. The price for the application is well worth my monthly subscription cost. I give AP a major thumbs-up compared to their competition.
Pretty sophisticated so I have needed more help than the videos for email campaigns and certain initial set up for reminders.

My favorite part of using AestheticsPro is the support team. Whenever an issue arises support is quick to respond and always helpful. Our account manager Daija Martos is always fast to reply as well and happy to help with any questions we have.
We wish the appointments that have been checked out for the day were visually different on the calendar so we can easily see where we're at for the day. For example if the checked out appointments were grayed out it would be easier to see what appointments we have left. Also we dislike that patient's can't upload photos through their client portal.
Very user-friendly interface that all of our staff can use. We love all of the different report options as well which is unique to AestheticsPro. Our business has become more efficient at tracking treatments and tracking our closed consultations and upsale appointments. It is very easy to get in touch with the AP support team whenever questions come up.

I don't know that we have a problem that Aesthetics pro is solving - of the pos systems available this one is the most user-friendly. There is area for improvement on patient use.
There are many different forms to use and customize for your specific needs. The POS integration with Gravity is amazing! All the reporting options are a time saver.
The calendar goes back to today instead of staying in the future date view you are working in. Gravity integration keeps disconnecting overnight.
AestheticsPro is making it easier for us to have one place for everything (POS, Schedule, Forms, Charting). No more paper forms, lost notes, and multiple systems.
Very user-friendly and intuitive software. Everything from form creation, template building and documentation. The support team is very responsive and helpful whenever I'm stumped so makes customization a breeze.
Additional, advanced level training videos would be helpful. Once I configured the system on a general level and started using it, I had some higher level questions that were not easily answered via training materials so I needed to reach out to the support team. The team was extremely responsive and helpful, but I could have avoided needing to place a ticket if more troubleshooting videos were available.
I chose Aesthetics Pro because it easily and thoroughly allows for a complete business package. It includes patient registration, visit documentation, inventory management, integrated billing/payments, and communications. Marketing through drip campaigns and email/text reminders are usually not part of the basic level of medical electronic health records.
The self booking option links seamlessly into my website, and allows new and existing clients to book at their convenience, thus increasing the number of bookings. The EMR has hundreds of pre-built consents and templates that can be easily updated to fit my practice.
I wish that AP linked to Google and other booking platforms. Other than that, I have been extremely happy with it and have had no complaints!
Scheduling, CRM, EMR, bookkeeping, and performance analysis are all easily managed in one place. I can access AP from both my office and on the go, on my phone.
The ability to generate specific reports.
System is specific on which file types of photos you can upload. And only partnered with one banking platform.
Not sure yet. Nothing I have suggested has been worked on that I know of.

No downsides at this time. Sometimes making the packages can be a little difficult.
Do the training videos they are very helpful
It is solving my need to avoid paper charting, keeps my patient information safe and easily accessible. Yes I am more productive with the program.
