Acumbamail is a great email marketing platform that I do love a lot. It's packed with all the features a modern marketer needs.
The email builder is brilliant and helps me create astonishing newsletters. In addition, there are hundreds of templates to choose from. The subscribers are unlimited, so what's fairer is to pay for the number of emails sent. The email deliverability is very good. All the statistics can be exported as PDF, too. There is a possibility for landing pages creation.
The Agency Plan I'm using gives me the option to brand the platform as mine with a custom domain.
A dream for every digital marketer.
There isn't anything I dislike at all at this moment. Maybe an affordable SMS feature for Bulgaria is the only thing missing to me.
I can manage a massive database of subscribers at no additional cost. The segmentation is incredible.
When looking for any software, we have to consider the fact that we deal with three very different business ventures, so most of the time we can only hope to have one global solution that is still differentiated enough to see the separation! Well, Acumbamail fits the bill perfectly as our new Digital Marketing Solution, integrating both emails and SMS in an uncomplicated UI with a very straightforward UX. The ability to build using blocks and templates is great so we don't have to spend the extra time designing on a third platform and the fact that they offer unlimited subscribers is unique! Their scalability structure allows to easily grow when the email volume grows. Another great feature is the campaign preview.
The support team has been so incredible since the early investigation stages and any discomfort has been immediately looked at, so far the only issues we have had, have been user errors due to haste in the implementation phase. At first I was concerned that there was no CRM but since that I have gotten a third party CRM solution that not only integrates well with Acumbamail but has opened a new world of possibilities for us,
Definitely consider having a CRM solution to tag along! We have been using Agiled and they work like a charm in tandem.
By simply having the ability to oversee all of our different business ventures under one "account" (they are still separate, but basically under one roof) I have solved my biggest issue of them all, also we have noticed that our time devoted to "pushing the right content" has been reduced dramatically by all the integrations and automation features in Acumbamail.
I really like the interface where you can find all you need in a really easy way: your statistics, your campaigns, your automations, your lists. There is the statistics for each list too and a visual of where people clicked on the email, and how much percentage.
People that doesn't have a gmail.com adresse email have the tendancy to become soft bounce. I needed to invest a lot of time in support to overcome this.
I was using different plateform to run my email marketing, I needed to switch a lot between them. And they were more expensive. I feel Acumbamail is a lot more intuitive too.
I was able to easily hook our sign-up system to Acumba via webhooks. They allowed me to map the webhook fields, so I didn't have to worry about the format of the data.
I also liked that data about opens/clicks/bounce is updated almost in real time.
Occasionally they have small things that are not preperly translated. It seems like the product was in Spanish and then translated. But it's not that bad, and they seem to fix things all the time
All my SaaS users are added to a list, and this is how I send newsletters. They manage a clean list by handling unsubscribe and removing hard bounces
The landing page builder! It is the easy way to create a site and collect emails for your business!
Sometimes, it translates back to Spanish, but I should have learned it when I was younger anyway lol
doing all of the heavy lifting in one place. I have a hard time keeping focus by switching apps all the time. this takes care of my problem
Acumbamail is easy to integrate with great automation features. I like the subscriber list management function and they have included SMS automation for few countries.
There is no option to tag or group the subscriber based on the behaviors but you have to select the campaign behaviors each time when you are building the automation. Also they are promising as Email and SMS automation where SMS feature is not available for most the countries
Check whether your requirement meets or not as it has lots of cons.
Send a scheduled email newsletter to my subscriber base. Also to build email-based training courses in my niche area
The editor creates marketing campaigns using emails, and SMS is something positive within the service; the option to create landing pages is one of my favorites. Completing surveys and advertising them in digital marketing campaigns is helpful because it allows us to know what customers think of us. One of my favorite features; the design and templates are very professional.
The package for entrepreneurs is quite expensive; there are lower-priced tools that offer the same resources; in automation, they are not as good, and the report analysis needs to be better; more integrations. Most of them are native or zapier.
To create marketing campaigns, send our customers and future customers surveys, messages, and mailing where we can be noticed as a company, detail the products we offer and automate the entire advertising process to get better revenue.
Acumbamail offers some interesting features that other email newsletters don't have, such as SMS and landing pages. But I never intended to use those, and I don't see those as benefits when I'm not that big a fan of their primary service, the newsletters. On the bright side, they offer a ton of subscribers and monthly mailing limits.
The main website is in Spanish and the last time I used it, so were some of the menus within the app itself. The UX and UI are adequate but feel barebones and even clunky. The 37 available templates for the newsletters are basic.
I bought an LTD for Acumbamail on AppSumo when everyone was raving about it. But I was rather crestfallen after so much hype. It's just a basic newsletter service, and it's in Spanish and doesn't cater to Americans, i.e. me, so it always felt weird signing in and using it. Since then they've updated a lot of the menu's in the app with English text, but I've refunded the deal and no longer use it on account of this.
Acumbamail provides a huge amount of newsletter emails per month for a fair price. I was excited about using them as my email provider, but the lack of localization and other niceties just made the experience feel odd enough that i stopped using it and returned it.
Acumbamail has many features, including automation, SMTP and SMS. That makes Acumbmail difficult to outgrow.
Much like Zoho Campaigns, the many features and adjustments bring flexibility and complexity. That makes Acumbamail less appealing to use. For example, there are currently 860 templates but selecting the right one is difficult. For example, the Newsletter category has 44 choices, including "weekend sale", "mystery flash sale" and "stop the hate". Those aren't suitable for a "normal" newsletter.
Parts of the site aren't translated into English (example: "If you can't see this newsletter properly, please click aquí"). This will likely improve with time if you have the patience to wait.
Looking for a replacement for MailerLite which recently introduced a new version (but didn't migrate current users and the old pricing). Acumbamail looks too complicated in comparison.

Acumnamail has very useful automations with time delays between scheduled emails, sign-up forms, and an easy-to-create new template section. You also get reports of the open rate and more.
I think the fact that it sometimes falls back to Spanish; I am bilingual myself (not Spanish), but a lot of the help and content is sometimes in Spanish first. Maybe its their strength; otherwise, great. The youtube channel is also predominantly Spanish, which is not so great if you are not a Spanish speaker.
It is excellent in helping me to create an automated system for an email series. As soon as my users sign up, the emails are triggered and sent to them. Also, it helps me to create professional-looking emails.
