ACTO has helped us exceed our goals when it has come to training milestones.
We use it for new hire training, pre-work to meetings, and quarterly training initiatives.
The metrics are state-of-the-art, and have been very helpful in determining development for the representatives. Senior leadership has been especially impressed with everything.

Some features differ whether you are using a laptop or mobile/tablet device. It's a little difficult to get to know the training tools (how to create, specifically), but I think it just takes more time with the platform until you get the hang of it.

Broad based sales enablement tool to support ongoing clinical and sales training, coaching from upper management, and tracking of marketing collateral and utility to support sales cycle.
The click through process for sales training modules isn't as straightforward as it seems. Teams always struggle with what to do after they complete a section. If there is a quiz, it needs to pop up at the end before a user can move on or they have to elect to come back to it and then the course pushes you to the next bit of content. Somehow the process needs to be more automated and not require a click through.
The team and the platform is amongst the best I have seen. I think ACTO is unique in the sense that they have a platform that has integrated the critical components needed for a commecial organiziation - training, sales enablement, coaching and sales rep effectiveness. It provides management with a tool to be able to coach and support ongoing development. It also provides marketing with a sense of how effective their content is or what they need to spend more time training the sales team to say and do.
We currently only have manuals for training & it doesn't support long term retention or understanding. Learning is difficult for the user to do independently, and requires face-to-face training. I think we can reduce cost and improve our sales and clinical effectiveness.
It combines Sales Training and Sales Enablement into one tool. The trainings have clear actions and provide an engaging platform for training. Sales Enablement provides an easy to use platform for sales reps to find sales and marketing content.
The administrative GUI while great can still use some work.
Reporting. We are starting to build a blueprint of what a good sales rep looks like.
Connecting with my organization, real time, providing pull through content w backend analytics. Feedback from sales force has also been extremely positive
Getting internal stakeholders outside of Commercial to buy-in. Once they see it also has utility in their space (Legal/Compliance), they were fully on-board
I used a launch video (they helped create) with my C-Suite and other Executive stakeholders. It was an absolute hit. We rolled it out like we would a product launch vs. just another tool folks could or could not use. Make it a living, breathing, part of how your organization communicates and you'll never look back
Our ability to provide instant training, with feedback and data on all things from strategic rollout of marketing content, National Meeting initiatives, to training pull through is the best I've researched and personally utilized
The relative ease of use for the user. The mobility of the application. The support of the ACTO team.
There are some inconvenient processes on the administrative side, that if corrected could save time of developers and administrators.
ACTO is a great application for adult learning. The underlying principles align with modern talent development philosophies. ACTO provides great support. The leadership is intelligent and working hard, but seemingly growing fast. Be prepared to "grow" with them.
We are able to deploy training at the point of need. ACTO provides a foundation of support for calculating various aspects of ROI related to training.
ACTO has allowed me to deploy a variety of training assets into the hands of the sales force due to the variety of mechanisms the program can accommodate. The ability to provide a video tutorial, pedagogical slides, screen shares, and "podcasts" have driven knowledge from the office to the hands of the sales team when they need it.
New subscribers sometimes have difficulty setting up an account. A simple video that walks the user through the set up process would be helpful to send to my new hires.

Role play examples performed by product managers can be sent to the field along that substantiate the messaging rolled out in written form (slides, pdf, documents, etc.)
There is a very short learning curve for internal users to create micro-learning content for our sales force.
The reps have been so happy and impressed due to access on mobile devices as well.
They can directly send customer-facing approved content to key stakeholders instantaneously from their phones.
It has given us an impactful way to train reps virtually and give them sales content at their fingertips--all based on adult learning principles.
The only thing I would enhance would be to have the ability to copy checklists from one Action Pack to another. That would be helpful.
Try to implement the video coaching earlier in your learning and implementation process.
Our organization has moved away from live training events due to cost. ACTO empowers us as a sales enablement team to create short bits of training content, use micro-learning adult learning theory principles, and have the ability to due video coaching challenges for practicing and reinforcement in the field.
ACTO has helped me transform the way I train my sales representatives. It helps take complex product and clinical information and break it down into micro-learning that enable the sales representative to more effectively convey the material to the customer.
There isn't really anything that I dislike. ACTO listens to the end user and takes the information to continually improve the tool.
ACTO is a one stop shop that has all the resources and the analytics in one place. It can be as robust as you need it to be. There is a commitment up front in structuring the action packs but once you create one than it is easy to replicate.
The biggest challenge that I have had and realized the greatest benefit from utilizing ACTO has been taking the vast amount of marketing and clinical material and breaking it down to what is relevant and useful to the sales representative and the customer. The greatest benefit as a result ultimately has been the increased sales.
