Very happy with Act!
What do you like best about Act!?
Keeping track of my contacts and calls / emails, and although I do not do a lot of e-marketing, I like the new marketing automation.
What do you dislike about Act!?
About 50% of the time I call support, I cannot understand the person on the phone as English does not seem to be their first language.
What problems is Act! solving and how is that benefiting you?
Act! gives me an easy to search CRM that enables me to keep in touch with existing customers as well as find new ones.

What do you like best about Act!?
I have tried other database software and I love the ease of the product and the reports I can generate
What do you dislike about Act!?
I am a one person office so sometimes I don't get things updated as I should and therefore, I don't use all of it's features, unfortunately.
Recommendations to others considering Act!?
The upfront cost was a big budget item for a single business owner, but I can justify how I use it daily like other software. In addition, I purchased the latest version because my computer had crashed, so I am glad now to have the "cloud" version so I don't have to externally back up all the time.
What problems is Act! solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like to use the tasks feature and it works very well as reminders for me .

What do you like best about Act!?
The ability to send personalized mass emails and letters.
What do you dislike about Act!?
I had a 8 GBs of memory which is what the web site said was the minimum but you really need at least ``16 GB. I got a new 32 GB computer and it runs super smooth.
What problems is Act! solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives me the ability to categories my clients and prospects in groups and then send them specific communications that are personalized. I can send 500 communications in a day and it looks like I sent a personalized email to every one of them.

ACT is the best
What do you like best about Act!?
Been an ACT customer since 2002 and love this application and the customer support. I always get right to a person. It's easy to use and has been "bug free." I especially love the "ID Status" field. It allows me to code all of my contacts for easy retrieval.
What do you dislike about Act!?
I don't dislike anything. I've used since 2002. Each update is better than the last with new features.
What problems is Act! solving and how is that benefiting you?
Has completely organized my more than 2500 contacts for easy access.

Using a simplistic CRM - ACT
What do you like best about Act!?
I have used many CRM's and ACT is the easiest. I can get a good look at my company contacts, notes and activities with minimal effort. I love the pop-up reminders for tasks I have set. Also very easy to implement. Customer Support and Onboarding is great.
What do you dislike about Act!?
Although it has some reporting capabilities, I wish it had more.
What problems is Act! solving and how is that benefiting you?
ACT helps me to know what is going on in everything company including prosects, active clients, past clients and allows me to prioritize what client to work with and how.

Act provides all the tools to manage my contats and deal flow
What do you like best about Act!?
It seamlessly and easily tracks all my activity with clients, referral sources, and lenders.
What do you dislike about Act!?
The one feature wish it had the ability to tie a company to a group instead of just a contact. For example, I work with a wide variety of alternative lenders that provide different kinds of commercial financing. I differentiate the lenders by placing contacts that work for that lender in appropriate groups for the landing programs they provide, ie "Commercial Real estate Lenders that Lend to Bars & Restaurants". If the contact for that lender leaves that lending company, I would still like to maintain the company name in that group as a lender that provides that specific type of financing.

It makes keeping track of contacts very easy.

What do you like best about Act!?
My firm does Employment Candidate Generation. Act gives me the ability to store my contacts and find them very quickly if I receive a call. It is great to be able to look up previous contacts and sort them in seconds. I can also store resumes and documents with the contact.
What do you dislike about Act!?
Recommendations to others considering Act!?
I have clients in industries where I work with them many times. With the look-up feature, it is very easy to find and create a list of the names that I have previously generated
What problems is Act! solving and how is that benefiting you?
The transfer of contacts from Excel into Act has some problems. I get databases rejected all of the time. In addition, when I import contacts, I should be able to import either by first and last name or by full name. You can't import First Name - Last Name in separate field contacts.

What do you like best about Act!?
Completeness of areas to enter pertinent information. Ease of navigation. Helpful reminders for client/prospect interaction.

My difficulty in finding all the features! Learning the "switches" to turn on and off that can be the most helpful.

What do you like best about Act!?
I can keep a database of my clients and can see all contact made as well as see their annual spending. I can svgecuke follow up reminders and can email all clients at one time saving hours of time.

Ever since they went to a mandatory annual renewal I have had continued problems with mail merge and it seems no one I talk to understands how to fix the issue.
