The platform is comprehensive yet simple to use! An LMS for "non-tech" administrators ensures easy admin management that is time effective and seamless, resulting in a user-friendly end-user experience.
The support is second to none!
While we are yet to use the full training management opportunities, at this stage, we haven't found too much we dislike
Acorn LMS is the first LMS here at Council, so the platform adequately addresses gaps in our training delivery regarding content and accessibility.

That they have built a LMS for customer education and success, and they get the profession. Clearly it works well having a peer on the other end offering expcetional support.
At the time they didn't have a CRM integration for us, but to be fair to them it took them two working days to build a great two way integration.
Given I lead customer success, we tasked the new LMS provider with enabling us to improve customer life time value, support us in identifying at risk customers and to ensure customer user adoption was as high as could be. I'm pleased with their performance over the last few years, and they have certainly contributed to our exception results.
There is so much to like. I think going right back to the basics of what we all want a LMS to do, it does those things well. Reduced clicks, simple administration, easy reporting. I find some of the LMS providers a lot of marketing talk, but Acorn really backs it up with an exemplary platform. We get a lot from their multi-tenancy functionality, the best I have seen in the market.
Their catalogues isn't as intuitive as the rest of the platform, I believe the new version is due to be released next month so can't wait to see that. But other than that, nothing major.
In the staffing industry we have a mix of internal and external employees, as well as training candidates as part of academies. We also need to stay on top of employee legislation. Acorn enables all these way beyond our expectations of a LMS.
The platform is extremely user-friendly, fully customisable and allows you to create a variety of learning opportunities. One of the key features that I find to be most useful is the ability to build reports and pull comprehensive sets of data. The platform also integrates with a variety of other platforms via an API function. The team at pursuit have made really made the platform with the user in mind and it's so easy to make the platform your own and make it work for whatever learning activities you need your business to run.
Everything works very well, whenever I have an issue the team has tried their best to turn my problem into a solution. If I could say what I dislike about the platform it would probably be the survey tool.
The team is currently building a custom dashboard for me and additional email templates that will help make my LMS administrative team's job easier. I appreciate getting monthly updates that outline their planned upgrades to the portal and new functionality which occurs monthly. It helps you understand what new capabilities the system will have and how it can improve your experience in using the platform.
When the system was set up, we could enter our training programs and commence people immediately. The system was easy to use as an administrator and very simple for users.
I found sometimes that I would enroll a student in a specific training package and then would later discover that the same student is now enrolled in other training packages they were not enrolled in - and I was the only person enrolling our students.
Large volume of student movements through the LMS as the same time so it was able to handle a large volume of interactions from hundreds of students at various stages of training with no issues at all.
As an admin, I use this platform for reporting purposes. I have always found it user friendly, intuitive and accommodating. We have constantly received positive feedback about this new platform by other staff members.
IT would be useful to have some tutorials for beginners on how to use the administrative functions of LMS. Without being guided through, it might be difficult to learn without being guided. However, it is quite intuiative so it's not hard to figure out.

User-friendly interface, and easy for us to use as administrators. Great training and support from Acorn LMS. Lots of integrations from other course providers, or uploading an existing SCORM.
We would like more ability to change the format of the emails that get sent from the system, but in fairness, it works well as it is. Otherwise, it has everything we require.
If you are looking for an easy to set-up, user-friendly system then Acorn LMS is for you. One of our employees has used another LMS in a previous role and said this is one of the best he has used.
We needed a secure LMS to host our Security Awareness Training, that would enable us to easily manage annual compliance with little input. Acorn LMS does this for us and more, and we are now looking into ways to improve employee/consultant engagement by providing other useful training topics.
As a new user of LMS systems in the Government space, Acorn has been a user-friendly and relatively intuitive product. The support from the team is great and there are plenty of online help guides to continually improve your own offering. And I know we're just scratching the surface!
At times, there was a little lack of polish with the product not quite doing what was expected, then troubleshooting where the issue stems from was not straight foward.
Acorn is allowing our regular programming of online and live learning opportunities, but is also enabling us to bring all training into one space. This is ensuring we can keep track of what training needs there are, how to meet them and what else we might need to offer.

Acorn has an awesome support team that help us with our questions and give us direction and clarity around how can align our processees with their product. Their product is intutivie and their support hub is very well set up and is a perfect go to place to find answers to questions as well. The reports are also very well set up and we are enjoying our journey with Acorn.
I cannot think of anything that we dislike.
We are able to house courses in Acorn that we will be selling to our association members.
It is awesome how we can embed SCORM courses in the platform and it is super easy to set up courses/workflows in Acorn.
Their reporting is also well set up and gives us the key info we need.
They have a range of features and we have been really enjoying our experience.
