I like that I can quickly jump between a patient's chart for notes, schedule their next appointment, and take care of any billing without using other software.

As with any new software, there was a learning curve to it.

Accuro helped us move away from paper patient files and streamlined our scheduling.

Accuro is suitable for billing and account receivables. It's excellent for formatting letters.

I wish I could link spouses together under one file.

Accuro allows me to bill OHIP directly, saving manual paperwork and time.

I like how easy it is to open charts and access meds, also it is a very organized way of charting patients history, allergies, surgeries, medical conditions, etc.

When it freezes or there is a glitch in the system. Sometimes it is slow to open

I would recommend it as it is convenient and efficient. It is one of the better EMR systems I have used in comparison to Oscar and Patient Fusion

Saves time and easy way to keep track of meds as well as organize a patients chart

The settings for the patient scheduling page, able to change colours and how they patient scheduling appears so that its easy to look at, easy on the eyes. Emailing function is also very useful to communicate with other collages without actually looking for them physically to talk to them. This enables us to pass on information so that all staff are on the same page and informed about a matter, shows professionalism in the health care workplace.

It is slow, or maybe the computers at the clinic are just really old and slow. It takes a while to load the software and then to log in. Sometimes the software will freeze and it wastes time because our clinic books 3 patients for a 15 minute time frame, there is not time to waste and I must work quickly and efficiently. However, I wont be able to do that if the software lags all the time. I dont have time to wait for it to load and lag. This week is my last week working with the software and I am quite glad.

invest in fast running computers for maximum efficiency

The software appears differently on everyones accounts. My manager was having trouble looking for the settings because my account was appearing differently than hers, and I was not able to do reception duties because of this. I was not able to fax, file, and organize documents. Although I like being the technician, I was not happy to know that the software was the reason why I was not able to do certain tasks/duties.

Accuro is a comprehensive piece of software, and it provides a multitude of data to healthcare professionals in a way that they prefer. It may not be the prettiest kid on the block or the simplest, but it does what needs to be done. It displays all of the vital information where and when it's needed.

I am working with Accuro from the development side of things and working to integrate our software with this system. The group at QHR has been great to work with, they have so far provided everything that we need, and I have no complaints.

Our software is working towards a partnership with Acccuro, and we are looking at this from a functionality standpoint. So far, Acccur does everything that we had hoped that it would, and the transition is proving to be more than manageable.

.it's very user friendly, I like that its organized, there is a place for everything and it clearly lays it out for you, the tech support is also amazing, i like that it gives an easy view of the schedule, and i love that i can set tasks for myself, love this feature! i like that it is connected through all medical offices in the area and faxing/communicating between pharmacies is easy

its very sensitive, sometimes one touch and you're in a new patient chart, things are very close together so sometimes its easy to open a document or note that you didnt want to or new patient

it keeps us organized and everything in one place, no need for multiple softwares

.Most forms are auto populated which saves a lot of time, however sometimes they are incorrectly done so must be reveiwed each time

Sometimes accessing previous appointment dates is not as easy just going onto the encounter notes

Easy faxing and maintenance of patient records

Accuro is very user friendly and easy to navigate. Even if you are not famaliar with the software you could easily find your way around. It does have most of the features you would like in a medical clinic.

Accuro looks a little outdated compared to other EMRs. I can also be slow from time to time with the occational complete freeze. Would love for it to have an intergrated appointment reminder system thats more accessible.

Great and well rounded EMR with most of the features you would require

There is no current problems I can think of at the moment, Accuro has been around a long time so I think most glitches has been sorted out already.

Accuro EMR is a great system for doctors offices and Medical facilities that need an easy interface to document and record patient encounters with efficiency.

The Rehab side of our medical clinic has been using Accuro EMR in order to record and document their patient encounters. It has not the most uder friendly for chiropractors, physiotherapists and message therapists to use and create notes on.

Adding providers to the clinic system takes a very long time and is very expensive since you pay per provider. If you clinic has multiple part time independant contractors or employees it is not worth the cost to have them in the system monthly.

Accuro EMR is great for having all providers have access and collaborate on patient cases and notes.
