Generate a Culture of Cloud Innovation
User reviews of A Cloud Guru are mixed, with many praising its extensive course content, particularly for AWS certifications, and its hands-on labs. However, a significant portion of users express disappointment with outdated content, inconsistent quality across courses, and unresponsive support. While some appreciate the addition of Linux Academy courses, concerns remain about the platform's post-acquisition performance and customer service. While many found A Cloud Guru helpful for achieving AWS certifications, others recommend seeking alternative platforms for specific technical areas or those seeking more comprehensive learning experiences.

Easy to use and understand learning paths
Isn't enough to pass GCP certs on its own if you have no previous GCP experience
Helping get professional certifications in an easy-to-understand manner
Cloud Guru has brought a world of information and even more courses that help me gain the necessary skills to excel in my chosen path or field of study. It is a user-friendly platform with limitless options.
There is not much to say here except for a few suggestions, a more comprehensive range of cloud courses, and links to material sources such as e-books for further learning.
Cloud Guru brings the world of tech on a user-friendly platform, there is not much more to ask for, comprehensive content and a sufficient array of learning opportunities.
There is so much content and pathways that I know I can learn anything I need to stay relevant in the workforce. With their year subscription price being so reasonable I know I have enough time to learn more than one subject and they are constantly adding newer products and services to stay on the cutting edge.
I would like a little more humor and it would be nice to see the instructor as I watch the lecture so it doesn't feel like I am just forcing my way through powerpoint slides.
Would love to see some Splunk training
I have become AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certified and also have learned about kubernetes and containers with their kubernetes deep dive. I plan to delve into Azure and GCP when time permits. I am learning these skills because my new employer is look to use at least two of the major cloud providers to provide better services and reliability.
I like that they make sure all content is up to date with each platform. Most other sites it is always months if not a year behind the exams.
I do not like existing customers were not given a chance to upgrade to the Personal Basic Plus at a discount and instead were given( A very generous discount I will admit) on their basic plan. I would have opted into the Plus plan for let's say a 100 dollar discount.
It is helping me solve my knowledge gap with cloud technologies
I have used acloud.guru to earn 9 cloud certifications and am depending on them to help me continue my cloud journey. They’ve even helped me learn other essentials like Python, Vim, Chef, etc. that are key in DevOps, but not necessarily cloud.
I have had some technical difficulties that are taking a long time to resolve even after talking with support. Additionally due to the Linux Academy acquisition there are a good number of duplicate courses like Azure AZ-900 that simply existed on both platforms. I’m hoping ACG consolidated these courses together. Lastly, ACG currently focuses on the big 3 providers, which are AWS, Azure, and GCP; but I wish there was content on Oracle, IBM, and DigitalOcean, etc. that aren’t as big, yet still widely used.
If you’re pursing cloud certifications from any of the big 3 providers: AWS, Azure, GCP. Then you should purchase an acloudguru membership.
I’ve been able to cut the operational costs of AWS environments at my company. Furthermore, I’ve used my learning to create extremely complex CloudFormation templates to automate infrastructure in a highly regulated environment.
Very high quality videos that both teach the content and are tailored on the exams.
Would be nice if it was a bit cheaper... but I also understand the price point.
The AWS and other official content is very "raw" and it would be unlikely to pass the exams just by skimming through that content.
I like all the content provided by Cloud Guru and appreciate all the features of the course
At present, it seems no dislikes. As I am a beginner, I don't have many things to say.
N/A
It provides all the knowledge required to solve the problem, and as said, I am a beginner, I don't have many things to say.
I like that they keep their existing content refreshed and continually add new and relevant material, so much so that I cannot keep up on all the areas of cloud and related technologies that interest me. I also love their labs and that they provide free access to AWS, Azure, and GCP to practice deploying real-world cloud architectures, their cloud sandboxes.
The one weakness for me is their quiz material. The end-of-section and end-of-course quizzes are not reflective of a vendor's actual certification exams. Everyone studies and prepares for exams in their own way. I have always preferred quizzing myself over and over with difficult questions that reflect the level of difficulty that I will experience in the real exam, whether a university final or a certification. When preparing for a certification exam, I always need a combination of A Cloud Guru training and labs, plus a reputable third-party exam prep site.
ACG is one of my main sources for keeping current with the capabilities and offerings from AWS, Azure, and GCP. In my pre-sales and architect roles, I need to know both what can be done and how to do it in the best possible manner. ACG helps me achieve these.
Cloud guru is one of the best E-learning platforms that I have seen in my recent years, I have learned a lot and have been an avid user, we can also what are the new changes that are happening across all technologies. We can also AWS updates on weekly basis
I haven't disliked anything from cloud guru, I have been an active user, I haven't seen any issues till now related with their content or labs provided for learning
I have got certified in many cloud certifications, thanks to cloud guru and they have always updated their content as per new updates after each and every new change related to each certification.
