Overview

Description HOVER is a tool that helps create fully interactive 3D models of any property using smartphones, which gives users the ability to measure, design, and budget their home improvement projects. The tool uses state-of-the-art technology initially developed for the US military to generate 3D maps of any property. HOVER enables users to create an interactive 3D model of a home or any other property using a few smartphone photos. These models can be further used to measure and estimate home improvement costs. Users can also use them to assess damages to the property for both insurance claims and restoration costs. By using 3D Models, contractors can assess, plan, and carry out repairs and additions without using complicated tools or clunky machinery, eliminating downtime and reducing costs. HOVER Connect is a value-added feature that enables users to integrate remote collaboration with their current processes by adjusting to the no-touch workflow. It allows users to connect with their customers via video-conference and share a 3D Model of the property that includes design features. Maya is a powerful 3D modeling and animation software praised for its extensive toolset and industry-standard capabilities. Users consistently highlight its versatility, enabling them to create stunning 3D animations, visuals, and models for various applications, including film, gaming, and architectural visualizations. However, Maya's steep learning curve is a recurring concern, often requiring significant time investment and daily use to master its complexities. Additionally, the software's cost can be prohibitive for individual artists and small studios. While many users appreciate its robust capabilities, a consistent theme across reviews is the need for a more intuitive interface and user-friendly workflow.
