The Vitria BusinessWare product interface is so beautifully designed that anyone will fall with it. It is roboust and developer friendly. The GUI is very powerful and Vitrias integration capabilities are excellent.

I liked the product very much. The Eai integration interface is very tricky to use.

I had started my career on VITRIA and it provides a simple top to bottom approach visitbility of transaction and earsy to track the integration status.

Marketing was not done properly for this product. this product has good capability to penetrate into eveyr segment and capture the customer base

This is one of the best integration products in the market and once your explore the capability of parent and child business process implementation capabilities you will really appreciate it..

Marketing - beiong one of the best java based product in the market Vitria was not able to capture the customers. Vitria was noiche player in integration space before webmethods, Oracle fusion other but not sure why we were not able to bring the best ROIC and target selected segment customers with best options.

Variety of options in terms of platform connectivity. Scalability was a question in certain scenarios.

Not many support professionals around. Also I have not used it for last 8 years so not sure what all new features have been built later on.

Cross platform application integration, some business process rule engines.

A lot of JavaScript code needs to be written. Other BPM applications doesn't needs so much coding.

Backend process automation is done effectively through this application. Workflows can be automated and visualized effectively.

Vitria was very stable for what it was designed.

Vitria has never pursued it's customer base for technology upgrade hence customers later moved to other integration technologiea, which Vitria could have retained easily.

Please have a proper upgrade path and strategies bofore implementation as the load on system increases system becomes unmaintanable.
