Outbound has becoming AI driven and gets caught out for that reason. Trumpet is a nice and appealing difference as it comes with hyper personalised mini websites.
It's seriously addictive and takes some initial time to set up PODs that are right for you. Overall Trumpet doesn't come with a lot of dislikes when you gotten the hang on how to do things with it.
Starting a PoC and getting companies to try out your product is not easy these days. Budget restriction and the current market climate put some additional hardship on every sales guys job. Trumpet is not just an outbound tool - it is your go tool for the full sales cycle and beyond. It helps your clients and prospects to have a far better onboarding journey.
Looks sharp. Great for buyer experience. Good integrations with many other tools like Vidyard, Calendly, YouTube etc. Connects well with your CRM. Very easy to use and implement. Definitely something that I will be using constantly.
A little slow to load and would like to see more detail about tracking metrics, but overall the product is great.
We don't always get access to key stakeholders, so being able to share a single link that gives all the details they'll need is great.

There's really nothing negative about the tool
People read pdfs anymore, so having the key info all in one easy to share and digest space is hugely useful.
The product is easy to use and effective to send across to clients. The integration with Slack helps especially as well as being able to see how the client has interacted with certain documentation.
Sometimes can be clunky but their customer support usually solves the issue quickly.
- Enabling clients and understanding what areas are their biggest interests / pain points.
- Understanding which decision makers are paying more attention to our proposal than others.
From my first conversation with Russell to Lunio's ongoing success journey with the team, Trumpet has been and continues to be a company I love more and more.
Lunio has seen exceptional growth; however, we have tried many pieces of software to support our growth; this has led to time & money being invested but ultimately wasted. Trumpet has helped consolidate multiple pieces of software under one house at one cost. The team at Lunio loves the ease of use and is frequently used each day by our teams. For me, as a system admin, the implementation was a breeze while integrating with other software was a one click simple solution.
My biggest compliment to Trumpet is the support behind the product. They update us with new features and show how the quality can help Lunio. They have spent time getting to know us as a company and how we work. When a component comes out, they go above and beyond to show how it will help Lunio, and the feeling of having features created just for us is the ultimate compliment to them as a solution but, more importantly, the people behind the product.
Communication has been fantastic, including setting up a Slack channel with key members for us to stay connected. You can have the most awesome solution in the world, but without a brilliant team behind the product, it will fail. Trumpet has both and proven consistently they are the best around today.
I look forward to a long partnership with the Trumpet product and team members!
I didn't know about it earlier!! The time wasted on other software before implementing Trumpet is time I'm not going to get back nevermind the money wasted!
The main benefit is the consolidation of multiple pieces of software we were using. Instead of dealing with not-so-great communicators from other vendors, I now benefit from dealing with one brilliant team who communicates with their product knowledge and takes the time to understand how our company works.

Our processes pre Trumpet still aren't totally translatable onto the product. However, I have complete faith in the up coming functionality being able to improve on this.

This is such a user-friendly solution and I can see so many ways to use it with my prospect. It won't just make my life easier but will be very helpful to providing prospects & customers with a wide range of content without 'dumping' a bunch of links and documents on top of them. Also the native-like feel integrating with the likes of Consensus for video and PDF documents makes it very visually appealing. As far as I could see, there way no integration when I signed up, it felt that easy. I've been using it daily.
The features I'm looking forward to seeing improved on are:
- selecting a thumbnail image for videos embedded on a trumpet page (either by uploading an image or selecting a still from the video itself - option of both would be great).
- Embed Website widget; great option and it seems I can't embed my own company's website. Likely an issue with my company's settings.
- Link Preview; is great but would like to have it shown as full width of the page if there is just one link I want to display (similar to the PDF viewer with layout options).
Luckily, the trumpet team have been as responsive as I've ever seen any customer service team and had alternative suggestions and workarounds to each of the above within seconds/ minutes via Slack. The Slack integration for messaging has been so much more effective than email/ Zoom videos - though I know the team are available on both.
We previously used a 'microsite' in which you created custom links for each piece of content you want to share with a prospect and dump it onto a page. Our teams always described it as clunky and difficult to use, even after using it for 2 years. trumpet is as easy as downloading a new app and playing a game on your phone, and allows you to preview content quickly as the prospect/ customer you want to send it to might see it both in mobile and desktop. It's fast, easy, visually appealing and seems to have a great roadmap for innovation, based on the feedback from the team.
My team only heard about it last week and we've all jumped on it immediately, desperate to create trumpet pages for each of our prospects because it feels exactly like what we need. Very excited to keep exploring the funtionality as it seems I've only scratched the surface.
Again, the customer team at trumper are incredible. I've never seen such a fast response rate and multiple solutions proposed to my problems. Feels like we're an absolute priority which is great because our projects are time sensitive and the trumpet team are treating it like so.
- Allows us to keep tabs on what clients are looking at and interested in on our pods
- Centralised location for the entire sales process - making our lives a lot easier
- The platform is very configurable, meaning you can totally customise it to your unique sales processes
- Support from the Trumpet team is extremely beneficial and they simply can't do enough for you to ensure your success!
- Learning how to use the tool wasn't a steep learning curve but naturally with any new tool can be a little time consuming. Having something like a 'Trumpet Tour' option would be great. (however it's worth noting the support team were always on hand to help in this respect anyway)
Frequently we need to share documentation, demo recordings, help centre links, slide decks and quiestionnaires with clients via email. This can be extremely hard to track and follow whether the client has received the information or not.
Using Trumpet totqally takes away this pain and instead provides us with a central and transparent sales process to run with our customers. I'm looking forward to seeing the use case progress in the coming months.
